Honestly, it&#8217;s more fascinating than it sounds, even to non-dorks. Spotted on <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">C|Net News.com<\/span> (no longer online: news.com.com\/2061-11200_3-6112085.html)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And because it just isn&#8217;t The Dork Report without a flood of Apple obsession:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The latest <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20150130203955\/http:\/\/www.tuaw.com\/2006\/09\/04\/apple-to-introduce-itunes-movie-store-new-imac-ipod-nano-and\/\">iPipeDream<\/a> list of goodies predicted for <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20061018014413\/http:\/\/www.appleinsider.com\/article.php?id=2018\">Apple&#8217;s Sept. 12 media event<\/a>: faster &amp; bigger iMacs, overhauled iPod Nano, iTunes Movie Store, Airport Express with video, and that damn <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20070409052032\/http:\/\/www.appleinsider.com:80\/article.php?id=2017\">iPhone<\/a> again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update! Apple sneaks out new-model <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/imac\/\">iMacs<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/macmini\/\">Mac Minis<\/a> with little fanfare well before the Sept. 12 media event. Obviously, Steve Jobs et al. don&#8217;t consider these to be big-ticket items, only amping up the anticipation for surprises even more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20100606090351\/http:\/\/theappleblog.com:80\/2006\/09\/03\/why-i-will-probably-not-renew-my-mac-account\/\">.Mac catches more flak<\/a>, this time from The Apple Blog.
