The official promotional site for the Fine Line Features movie Invincible.

As director Werner Herzog's film was set in 1930s Berlin, I had the notion that the site design would be inspired by Art Deco concepts, inspiring the square aspect ratio, typography, and geometric patterns.

Looking at these screenshots for the first time in a long while, I am reminded that it was still the custom at the time for production stills to be supplied as physical slides, and the ones for this film happened to be especially blurry and poor quality. I did the best I could to digitally scan them, and manipulate them in Photoshop to make them look passable on computer screens.

Visual design derived in part from official digital assets, including: movie poster, trailer, and production stills.
