Marvel Shop was the official Marvel Comics e-commerce site. At the time, Marvel Comics was having success with its first few feature films, but had not yet been acquired by Disney, so it partnered with Warner Bros. to sell licensed merchandise online.

The Marvel Shop was one of Internet Retailer's Hot 100 Best Retail Web Sites of 2010.
