A comprehensive redesign of New Machine, an unofficial fan site about the singer-songwriter Chris Whitley, that had been adopted into a semi-official site by the artist and label. I was asked to work on the site, due to the small community that had built up around Breakdown, a music fan site I had initiated.

I redesigned and restructured the existing content with new navigation and look & feel, inspired by Whitley's music. Ongoing site maintenance was handled by others, and site was eventually superseded by a true official site in June 2001.
