Guidelines
- Banner units appearing on third-party sites must always display the full WBshop.com logo, even if it means the logo must be small. If animated, retain the logo throughout each frame if possible.
- For banners advertising a particular property (e.g. Harry Potter), use digital assets/fonts/etc. from that particular property. If that property's logo appears, it must be in addition to the WBshop.com logo.
- For banners advertising multiple properties (e.g. a general t-shirt sale), use a general WBshop.com style (white/blue color scheme, Gotham font, etc.)
- For banners advertising a seasonal event (e.g. Spring, 4th of July, etc.), the overall visual style and font choice may be unique.
- Keep text to the bare minimum, in part to to reduce visual clutter, but also because no one ever reads anything in a banner ad. Keep in mind long words (e.g. "Merchandise") force the designer to make text even smaller.
- If necessary to display product images, choose items that will be discernable at very small sizes. For example, a t-shirt featuring a design with very small text will look very poor in a tiny banner ad.
- For the call to action, use the default WBshop.com button style.
- Designers Toolbox provides general guidelines for file size optimization.
